If we had to describe a new house built into nature, then this is where we would land. This beautiful four-bedroom new-build project with multiple outbuildings and a green garden roof.
The Nature House Our Clients Requested
Working closely with our clients, we were able to add building design elements to create a residence that seamlessly blends with the scenic Worcestershire landscape.
This included an innovative grass-topped roof, which is a feature that really stands out and brings the element of nature and surroundings to the overall feel of the property.
We also incorporated a ground source heating pump, high spec windows and top-quality insulation, for energy efficiency and aesthetics. Full landscaping services including greenhouses, balancing lake, and full-size tractor shed were also provided.
Bringing the Garden into the House
As well as embedding the new build into it’s surrounding area, we were also tasked with bringing elements of nature into the house. Certain elements and design styles were incorporated into within to give the overall feel that our clients desired. The overall theme of this build was “Bringing the garden into the house”.
Designed by our partner Vivid Architects, the inspiration for the design and build draws from the majestic Malvern Hills. Shou sugi ban charred timber was incorporated within the final finish to integrate the building into its surroundings and bring elements of nature into the house as per the brief.
A Modern Home in a Natural Setting
By featuring open-plan living, modern lighting design, and natural product finishes, this project is an economic powerhouse with a modern twist. Standout features like high-vaulted ceilings in the kitchen and bedroom areas, open up the space and give a luxurious feel, whilst the outside boasts beautiful countryside and green living.
