This beautiful two-bedroom barn conversion was designed by JCE Planning and Architecture. We worked closely with them from the commencement of the project so we could combine our knowledge and skill set to deliver the highest quality service to our clients.
When working with older, rustic buildings, it’s imperative that the project development beautifully incorporates the existing elements while introducing
new, modern materials to bring the property into the high-spec living era. This marrying of older features with modern living is what brings the rustic yet glamourous look to this barn conversion.
The new air source heat pump and underfloor heating that we incorporated enable the property to become more energy-efficient for the residents.
Standout Features in a Delightful Barn Conversion
The standout features of The Cartshed were notably in the kitchen area, which truly reflects client visions and preferences, without losing the original character and features of the original barn.
As part of the project, we also incorporated outdoor enhancements; these included a carport and parking area for the client’s vehicles, as well as a newly constructed terrace for the residents to enjoy.
